Movie Projector

The 2022 edition, which will take place from 25th to 26th November virtually and physically calling on short film, animation, documentary, and feature filmmakers of all genres to proceed with the submission of their work.

CRITERIA FOR ENTRY

CongoFilmz Festival London will screen the best films selected by professionals in the industry.

Film Set

FEATURE FILMS​

  • Year of Production: 2020-22

  • Minimum length: 30 minutes

  • Format: Rough cuts/works in progress 

SHORT FILMS​

​

​

  • Year of Production: 2020-22

  • Maximum length: 15 minutes 

  • Format: Rough cuts/works in progress 

IMPORTANT NOTICE

  • If Screeners are in French they will have to be in the English subtitles and vice versa.

  • Submissions of screeners are made via email or on our website/online platform.

  • Films are to be submitted individually if they are from the same source.

  • If you want to send a screener by post, please fill in the entry form first.

  • Films before the years provided can still be submitted for the special category purpose. They will not be eligible for other categories as they do not fit the criteria.

  • Following format are accepted in : DCP, 35mm, HDCam, ProRes File and Blu-ray

DEADLINE

  • All entries must be submitted by: 1 October 2022

  • Time: 23.59 (UK time)

  • Jury members review period: 5 - 10th October 2022

  • Notification of the official selection and the competition categories:  1st November 2022
